C&M’s Engagement Evening at the Theater

So, before we get to this undeniably sweet engagement session; a personal cute fun fact— Earlier in my photography career, I predominantly shot bands and live music. So I was out shooting a gig one night and Camron, the groom featured below, was playing that night! It was a particularly special night for me because it was also the night I was introduced to Sean affectionately known as Bird, a cutie who would later become my husband! Pretty sweet huh? Fast forward a handful of years, Cam and Sean played in a band together, so we’ve all been out on the road together and had many a good time. And then! Mallory came into the picture and she was just this absolute vision! What a babe! And to boot, these two have the most romantic story, I’ll see if I have permission to share for my next post on their wedding cause you know I love a good love story! For now, I’ll set the stage for how their engagement session came to be: It was deep in pandemic days and I was so thirsty to go shoot and these two made my dreams come true by arranging to shoot at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater and asking me to be on board! As a former theater kid, I was stoked but even more, because I’d always admired both Cam and Mallory’s styles. I love a nod to anything vintage and these do that in such a fun way. I love Mallory’s mix of patterns and textures, but as an LBD it’s still so chic. Cam’s super cool and playful accessories all come with a story which I love. My fave is his Mallory guitar pick heart chain. Peep through these photos and you’ll see what a gorgeous couple these two are and what a blast we had playing at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater in Highland Park, in the heart of Los Angeles.
