K&K's Fig House Colorful Fall Wedding
From our inquiry call, I knew Kristina and Karim were my people. They were energetic, fun and so clearly in love. It was obvious they had impeccable style as they’d booked The Fig House with planning by One Darling Day. Unfortunately, this couple went through the covid wringer. Their wedding date was rescheduled multiple times, but it was clearly worth the wait. The couple got ready in Pasadena at The Westin near the City Hall. Pasadena City Hall was the perfect chic backdrop with lots of pockets of light to play with. We then made our way to the venue where Claudia Cassanova of One Darling Day, La Piñata Party Rentals and Jason Lloyd on florals truly outdid themselves. The space was stunning. Jason’s floral installations were on another level with seemingly infinite garlands of coral carnations and orange marigolds. The sunset tones popped against the already beautiful backdrop that is the Fig House in Highland Park, Ca. The party really got going with food and drink by Room Forty and Flash Dance Dj Vinay spinning the hits all night long. This is one of my favorite weddings I’ve shot as it was the perfect alignment of beautiful, stylish, and kind clients; and a fun, hardworking, talented vendor team. As a wedding photographer, you can’t ask for anything more!
